About the Books:

Muses To Sustain The Thoughtful Life

Just as Calliope, the Greek Goddess Muse of poetry, inspired Homer to write his epic works Iliad and Odyssey, the writings in this book hope to inspire readers to look deeply within themselves and creatively explore life-affirming solutions to the universal questions “Who am I?” and “What is life’s purpose?”

This updated 2018 edition of Muses To Sustain The Thoughtful Life immerses the reader in essays that facilitate insightful responses to these questions through meditation, self-reflection, and prayer. By presenting creative opportunities to explore, the book’s narrative poetry and diverse, adult story-telling facilitate self-discovery.

Muses To Sustain The Thoughtful Life II (Volume 2)

Do you want to explore and enhance the varied aspects of your intellectual self? Your inner spiritual self? Do you want to better understand how we judge and communicate with our fellow human beings – both verbally and through personal observation? What about the Great I Am? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this book is for you. Thoughtful readers will engage in fulfilling life-long journeys of self-discovery and introspection along the path to inner peace. Muses To Sustain The Thoughtful Life II is a collection of essays and narrative poems that accompany the reader in reflective moments and consideration of not only personal and societal values but also of life’s gifts.
