About the Author:

Roslyn Torella is the “self-appointed, unofficial historian” of the village of Lowellville, Ohio. Since 2013 she has been sharing her discoveries about her hometown’s fascinating history through social media and local newspapers. She is a graduate of Lowellville High School and Youngstown State University. Her writing reflects her love of local history and passion for family history.

About the Book:

Lowellville is a small quiet village in north east Ohio with a surprising history of murder and mayhem. This book is a collection of newspaper articles reporting on incidents that occurred between the 1850s and 1920s along with additional research by the author, local historian, Roslyn Torella.
