TV chef and game show host, Guy Fieri, will be in Ridgewood, New Jersey next month signing copies of “Guy Fieri Food.”
Fieri premiered his first cooking show “Guy’s Big Bite” on Food Network in 2006, after he won The Next Food Network Star, Season 2. He’s the author of two New York Times bestsellers: “Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives: An All-American Road Trip . . . with Recipes!” (2008) and “More Diners, Drive-ins and Dives: A Drop-Top Culinary Cruise Through America’s Finest and Funkiest Joints” (2009). He’s also the host of top-rated shows on Food Network – “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” and “Tailgate Warriors” – as well as the host of NBC’s “Minute to Win It.”
Fieri owns five restaurants in Northern California where he resides with his family, including two Tex Wasabi’s and three Johnny Garlic’s. He also launched the Cooking With Kids foundation in 2011, a program which encourages the development healthy eating habits in response to the childhood obesity crisis, and featured the first of an annual Culinary Camp this year.
“Guy Fieri Food” will hit bookstores on May 3, 2011.
