About the Author:

Dennis James Perkins is a native of Yazoo City, Mississippi. Upon graduating from Yazoo City High School, he attended Jackson State University, where he became a member of the Sonic Boom of the South Marching Band.

After completion of an undergraduate degree in business administration, Dennis later pursued his master’s degree in community and agency counseling.
Throughout his adult life, he has primarily worked directly in areas involving children and youth from ages three to seventeen years old. As the years progressed, these experiences culminated in statewide positions where he had program oversight of various programs that gave assistance to vulnerable families and troubled youth.

It would be years before he would discover a closer walk with the Lord. Upon meeting Deborah, his wife of twenty-eight years, a whirlwind of change took place in his spiritual life which led him to acknowledge, more importantly, his spiritual calling into the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dennis began writing Christian books in response to God’s divine calling to scribe as He leads and speaks. His books are a derivative from messages that God highlights through the written and rhema/prophetic word of God. Expect more to come from Dennis as he receives inspiration and downloads from the Holy Spirit to encourage and edify the reader. Jesus Christ shall be glorified!

About the Book:

When you hear the word give, does it provoke thoughts or feelings of annoyance? There are far too many situations where people test the boundaries of our compassion and willingness to aid and assist in numerous ways. It is not all about money.

Giving is a lifestyle, which should be considered all inclusive, but the worldly influences tend to place mental restraints or limitations to freely engage in practice, and most importantly, the principles associated.

What do you think you would do if Jesus said to you? “Sell all that you have, and distribute it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.”

What motivates you to give?

• When there is a desperate need.

• Out of Guilt, or a compulsion to do so.

• When it is for a worthy cause.

• When you trust in the entity or person(s).

• Because those whom you know gave.

This book will not only challenge you, but broaden and even alter your perspective on God’s methods of operating His Kingdom principles through you and those you love. Your life will never be the same as you experience the eternal daily benefits from Living to Give Your All!
