About the Book:

It’s summertime in Alabama and that means Aggie and her family are on the way to Papa and Granny’s house. Aggie is finally old enough to help pick scuppernong grapes and make scuppernong jelly! But making jelly is hard work. There are lessons to be learned, grapes to be mashed, and grape hulls to be scraped. Little Aggie soon gets more than she’s bargained for when her hands suddenly turn purple! Will they stay purple forever? Read along with Aggie and find out!
