From the Author
“When I sat down to write the first Beaumont book in 1982, I thought I was writing A BOOK!! I had no idea it was the beginning of A SERIES! I had no idea that the characters that peopled that first book would still be part of my writing life almost thirty years later.

Betrayal of Trust, Beaumont # 20, goes on sale July 5. New readers who encounter Beaumont now will see him as a tech savvy guy, but if they feel compelled to go back to the first book, Until Proven Guilty, published in 1985, they’ll find him living in a world where computers were rare and cell phones were non-existent.

Bottom line, though, electronic innovation aside, Beau is still Beau. Enjoy. ” –J.A. Janice
