Jane Fonda, Book Signing Tour “Prime Time: Love; Health; Sex; Fitness; Friendship; Spirit”

Award-winning actress, political activist and fitness authority, Jane Fonda, will be touring her new book “Prime Time: Love; Health; Sex; Fitness; Friendship; Spirit,” signing copies.

Fonda is an Oscar and Emmy winning actress, most noted for her political activism and the fitness craze she launched in the early 80s, The Jane Fonda Workout. She is co-founder of the Women’s Media Center and and in the past had often been used as a dartboard by conservatives for her outspoken opposition to the Vietnam War. More recently, she also protested the war in Iraq. Appearing in over forty films, her hits include Barefoot in the Park (1967), The China Syndrome (1979), Nine to Five (1980), On Golden Pond (1981), Klute (1971) and Coming Home (1978), the latter two for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. In 2005, she released her autobiography titled, “My Life So Far.” A lifelong feminist, in 2008, Fonda was inducted into the California Hall of Fame, and in 2009 she was the recipient of the New York Women’s Agenda Lifetime Achievement Award. “Prime Time: Love; Health; Sex; Fitness; Friendship; Spirit” will hit bookstores on August 9, 2011.
