About the Author:
Valarie Kaur is a visionary civil rights leader, lawyer, educator, and the bestselling author of See No Stranger. Her work has ignited a movement to reclaim love as a force for justice. Today she leads the Revolutionary Love Project, equipping people across the United States to build beloved community. A daughter of Punjabi Sikh farmers in California, Valarie was raised with the stories and songs of her ancestors, who taught her that wonder—vismaad—is the heart of love. She wrote this book as a song for her children, who inspire wonder every day.
