Oh please. She’s not even that great of a cook. Maybe a popular tv personality , but as far as chefs go, I’d say she’s kinda average. Besides, you can get most of her recipes online for free.

Today, I was one of a multitude of fans of Rachael’s at her Sur La Table book signing at Santana Row in San Jose, CA. Before Rachael arrived at her signing she was donating around $7,000 to a local Pit Bull puppy adoption group at Santana Row. She urged us to think about adopting a Pit Bull puppy for Christmas. Rachael also showed us her Isaboo’s photo on her phone. I could tell she missed her dog and hubby, John! Rachael spent a lot of time talking to us about being charitable at the holidays. I never realized until now, how much YUM MO! meant to her and what it truly was like to be a philanthropist. She made me think about what more I can do to be a contributor to society and give back what I can. I truly appreciated meeting her and having my book signed, Yumo! Rachael Ray!

I was at a book signing today at Costco in Danville Ca. I truly enjoyed this and most of all was able to get her to sign her latest cookbook for my daughter for christmas. She was very polite. So excited she wrote yummo in the book as my daughter is pregnant with her first child a boy to be born on Feb 10 2011 and I had ordered her a onsie from rachels website that says yummo so it goes perfect together. Thank you Rachel it was well worth waiting in line for 2hours. Way to go!!!!!
